Professional services have rules, hence our general terms and conditions. These apply to both you and us and are binding for both parties.


What if you unexpectedly have or encounter a problem?

We can only be reached for very urgent 112 matters via

Tel. 31 (0) 628237072 or via the intercom at reception, available 24/7.

For less urgent matters, you can reach us during reception hours, Mon-Sat, 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Reception is closed on Sundays.


A power outage is not a 112 alert, so don't worry! Just use the email us button or send us a WhatsApp message.

Article 1: Definitions

In these terms and conditions the following terms shall have the following meanings:

  1. holiday accommodation: tent, folding camper, motorhome, touring caravan, summer house, hiker's cabin, apartment, etc.;
  2. entrepreneur: the company, institution or association that makes the holiday accommodation available to the holidaymaker;
  3. holidaymaker: the person who enters into an agreement with the entrepreneur regarding the holiday accommodation;
  4. co-recreant: the person(s) indicated in the agreement;
  5. third party: any other person, other than the holidaymaker and/or his fellow holidaymaker(s);
  6. Agreed price: the fee paid for the use of the holiday accommodation; a price list should be provided to indicate what is not included in the price;
  7. costs: all costs for the entrepreneur related to the operation of the recreational business;
  8. information: written/electronic data about the use of the holiday home, the facilities and the rules regarding the stay;
  9. Cancellation: the written termination of the agreement by the holidaymaker, before the commencement date of the stay.
  10. The Maashoeve is an Adults-Only Campsite: This means that persons under the age of 18 are allowed to visit but cannot stay overnight at the Maashoeve.

 

Article 2: Content of the agreement

  1. The entrepreneur provides the holidaymaker with a holiday home of the agreed type for recreational purposes, i.e. not for permanent residence or registration in the BRP, for the agreed period and the agreed price.
  2. The business owner is obligated to provide the holidaymaker in advance with the written information on which this agreement is based. The business owner will always notify the holidaymaker in writing of any changes to this information in a timely manner.
  3. If the information deviates significantly from the information provided when entering into the agreement, the holidaymaker has the right to cancel the agreement without costs.
  4. The holidaymaker is obligated to comply with the agreement and the accompanying information. They must ensure that fellow holidaymakers and/or third parties visiting and/or staying with them comply with the agreement and the accompanying information.


Article 3: Duration and termination of the agreement

The agreement ends automatically after the agreed period has expired, without any notice of termination being required.


Article 4: Price and price changes

  1. The price is agreed on the basis of the rates applicable at that time, which have been determined by the entrepreneur.
  2. If, after the agreed price has been determined, additional costs arise due to an increase in charges on the part of the entrepreneur as a result of a change in charges and/or levies that directly relate to the holiday accommodation or the holidaymaker, these can be passed on to the holidaymaker, even after the conclusion of the agreement.


Article 5: Payment

  1. The holidaymaker must make payments in euros, unless otherwise agreed, taking into account the agreed terms.
  2. If the holidaymaker, despite prior written notice, fails to meet his payment obligation within a period of one week after the written notice, the entrepreneur has the right to terminate the agreement with immediate effect, without prejudice to the entrepreneur's right to full payment of the agreed price.
  3. If the entrepreneur is not in possession of the total amount due on the day of arrival, he is entitled to deny the holidaymaker access to the holiday accommodation, without prejudice to the entrepreneur's right to full payment of the agreed price.
  4. Any reasonable extrajudicial costs incurred by the entrepreneur after notice of default will be borne by the holidaymaker. If the total amount is not paid on time, the statutory interest rate will be charged on the outstanding amount after written notice.


Article 6: Cancellation

  1. In case of cancellation, the holidaymaker pays a fee to the entrepreneur, with a starting amount of € 25.00.

Cancellation amount:

  • More than 90 days before arrival 10% of the agreed price.
  • 90 days before arrival 50% of the agreed price.
  • Within 30 days before the effective date, 100% of the agreed price.


Cancellations always incur costs, regardless of the reason. We recommend taking out cancellation insurance to cover these costs. Any costs not covered by your insurance company are your own risk.


Article 7: Use by third parties

  1. Use of the holiday accommodation by third parties is only permitted if the entrepreneur has given written permission for this.
  2. Conditions may be attached to the consent given, which must then be established in writing in advance.


Article 8: Early departure of the holidaymaker

The holidaymaker is liable to pay the full price for an agreed rate period.


Article 9: Interim termination by the entrepreneur and eviction in the event of an attributable shortcoming and/or unlawful act. The entrepreneur can terminate the agreement with immediate effect.

to cancel:

  1. If the holidaymaker, fellow holidaymaker(s) and/or third party(s) do not or do not properly comply with the obligations arising from the agreement, the associated information and/or safety regulations, despite prior written warning, and to such an extent that, according to the standards of reasonableness and fairness, the entrepreneur cannot be expected to continue the agreement;
  2. If the holidaymaker, despite prior written warning, causes a nuisance to the entrepreneur and/or fellow holidaymakers, or spoils the good atmosphere on or in the immediate vicinity of the site;
  3. If the holidaymaker, despite prior written warning, uses the holiday accommodation in a way that is contrary to the intended use of the site.
  4. If the owner wishes to terminate the premises and vacate the premises prematurely, they must notify the holidaymaker by personally delivered letter. The written warning may be omitted in urgent cases.
  5. After cancellation, the holidaymaker must ensure that the holiday accommodation is vacated and leave the premises as soon as possible, but no later than within 4 hours.
  6. In principle, the holidaymaker remains obliged to pay the agreed rate.
  7. Failure to comply with Article 2.1

 

Article 10: Legislation and regulations

  1. The entrepreneur ensures at all times that the holiday accommodation, both internally and externally, meets all environmental and safety requirements that may be imposed on the holiday accommodation by the government.
  2. The holidaymaker is obligated to strictly comply with all safety regulations applicable on the premises. They are also responsible for ensuring that any fellow holidaymaker(s) and/or third parties visiting and/or staying with them strictly comply with the safety regulations applicable on the premises.


Article 11: Maintenance and construction

  1. The entrepreneur is obliged to keep the recreation area and the central facilities in a good state of maintenance.
  2. The holidaymaker is obliged to keep the holiday home and its immediate surroundings in the same condition in which the holidaymaker received it during the term of the agreement.
  3. The recreational user, fellow recreational users and/or third parties are not permitted to dig, cut down trees, prune shrubs or carry out any other activity of a similar nature on the premises.


Article 12: Liability

  1. The entrepreneur is not liable for an accident, theft or damage on his premises, unless this is the result of a shortcoming attributable to the entrepreneur.
  2. The entrepreneur is not liable for the consequences of extreme weather conditions or other forms of force majeure.
  3. The entrepreneur is liable for disruptions to utility services, unless he can invoke force majeure.
  4. The holidaymaker is liable to the entrepreneur for damage caused by the actions or omissions of himself, his fellow holidaymaker(s) and/or third party(s), insofar as the damage can be attributed to the holidaymaker, fellow holidaymaker(s) and/or third party(s).
  5. The entrepreneur undertakes to take appropriate measures after a recreational user has reported nuisance caused by other recreational users.


Article 13: Dispute resolution

  1. Dutch law governs all disputes relating to the agreement. Only a Dutch court has jurisdiction to hear these disputes. Without prejudice to the provisions of paragraph 3, this does not affect the right to appeal to the civil court in those places where the terms and conditions apply.

Supplementary Regulations

Arrival and Departure Times Mon - Sat

Arrival after 2 p.m. and before 6 p.m., after 7 p.m. by appointment only, until 8 p.m. at the latest

(we are closed between 12:00 and 13:00 and from 18:00)

Departure after 8am and before 11am.

Arrival and departure on Sundays are only possible after prior consultation.

If you wish to leave earlier or later, this is only possible after consultation with and approval of the owner-manager.

Additional costs for extending departure until 7 p.m.: Euro 15.00

Reception opening hours:

From 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. If you are traveling with your caravan, you will receive an entry tag for your car at the reception in exchange for a €20.00 cash deposit. You can return this entry tag before departure during reception opening hours, and you will receive your deposit back. If you forget to return your entry tag, you can return it by mail to the address of the recreation company "De Maashoeve" with your name and address, and your bank account number so we can transfer the amount. After receiving your entry tag, we will refund €15.00 to your account (minus additional administration and bank transaction fees).

Camping pitches

Each pitch has a connection point with a water tap, a 10-amp CEE power socket, a TV, and a wastewater disposal point. Chemical toilets can be emptied in the designated chemical dumping bins at the toilet building or toilet unit. We request that you leave the sanitary facilities clean and tidy for the next guest after use.


Camper places

We have a separate camper field, where you will be pitching on a paved surface.

The camper will remain at the camper site for the agreed booked period.

Double axle boats and boats longer than 8.00 metres are not allowed on the campsite.


Use of Air Conditioning:

Air conditioning can be used from 10am to 10pm.

WIFI 

You will receive a login code upon arrival.

Gas bottles

Propane or butane is permitted in cylinders with a maximum capacity of 50 liters. Propane and butane cylinders may not be filled with LPG. A gas cylinder must have a valid quality mark recognized by Lloyds Register Stoomwezen. The valve on a gas cylinder must be of a type approved by Lloyds Register Stoomwezen. Campers are responsible for, and may only use, the correct, approved gas cylinders.

Brochures - post and bicycle parking

Next to the entrance to the reception is our brochure post with information about the area.

In the second shed we have a covered bicycle shed with a charging point for electric bicycles.

Charging electric bicycles: only those with a battery attached to the bicycle. A separate battery can be charged at your camping equipment.

The warehouse is locked at night between 10:00 PM and 8:15 AM. Parking is at your own risk. Camping de Maashoeve cannot be held liable for theft and/or damage of any kind to the stored object.


Auto's

Park only in the designated parking area. Cars are not allowed on the camping field. We will place your caravan on the pitch and remove it upon departure to protect our lawn from damage.

After 10:00 PM, the barrier remains closed until 8:00 AM to ensure nighttime rest. You can exit day or night. The barrier and green gates open automatically as you approach. Please drive at walking pace within the grounds at all times.

Charging electric cars is not permitted.

Trolleys are available for unloading your groceries.

Visitors

Visitors must register at the reception desk. Admission: €1.50 per visitor (ages 0-100). Visitors staying overnight must register at the reception desk and pay the overnight rate – see price list. Visitors must park in front of the farm, not in the parking spaces reserved for guests at the campsite. Football is not permitted on the Maashoeve grounds.

Dog(s)

A maximum of one or two dogs are allowed per pitch (depending on the pitch). Your visitors are not allowed to bring dogs. Every dog, large or small, sweet, friendly, or friendly, must be kept on a leash at all times at Maashoeve.

 

Walking dogs

The dog walking area is in front of the Maashoeve or on the path between the gates, not in the parking lots. Don't forget to bring a bag so you can neatly deposit your dog's poop in the waste bin and we won't find it under shoes or elsewhere!

Please keep dogs on a short leash while walking around the campsite! Please don't let them urinate against trees or bushes.

Sound

Radio and TV volume should be kept at a low level. Please respect the peace and quiet of other guests and neighbors.

Night rest from 10pm to 8am.

 

Waste

Deposit in the designated waste bins: Glass, Paper, Plastic and Residual Waste.

 

BBQ 

Permitted provided it complies with general fire safety standards.

In the event of fire and/or other dangerous situations, please alert Fritz and/or Jolanda to the reception intercom as soon as possible. They are both company emergency responders. In case of emergency, all guests should gather in front of "de Maashoeve", Moeder Magdalenastraat 13A, along the road, and report to Fritz and/or Jolanda. Caution! Do not obstruct emergency services such as the fire department and/or ambulance.

The rental agreement

Camping pitches or log cabins can be agreed upon either in writing or verbally, and both agreements are binding for the entire period.

 

Dissolving conditions

If the tenant does not comply with the payment terms and/or the Maashoeve Regulations, the landlord reserves the right to consider the reservation as void, and the rental agreement will lapse.

Insurance / Cancellation

We recommend that you take out cancellation and/or travel insurance with your insurance agent. We apply the terms and conditions and regulations established for the Maashoeve recreation company, which you can read at: www.kleinecamping.nl. If any changes or adjustments occur in the meantime, the latest version of the terms and conditions applicable at that time will apply.

Damage and liability

During the rental period, the tenant is liable for any damage to the rented property caused by themselves, their co-tenants, and/or their visitors. Any damage must be reported immediately to the owners. The stay and use of the campsite, log cabin, and grounds are entirely at the tenant's own risk. The owner is not liable for theft or damage to property, nor for accidents involving guests and/or guests' visitors. Please report any irregularities to the owner immediately.


Bicycle storage during the season

Use of Stalling is at your own risk,

The owner is not liable for theft or damage on their property. The holidaymaker is liable to the owner for any damage they cause while using the storage facility.

Charging electric bicycles: only those with a battery attached to the bicycle. A separate battery can be charged at your camping equipment.


Storage of recreational objects in the shed

Gas cylinders are strictly prohibited in a stored object, as are other explosive and flammable items. These must be removed by the customer before the stored object enters the storage facility. The object will only be moved in and out of the storage facility by the storage facility's owner. The object must be parked only in the designated parking space. Customers are not permitted to enter the storage facility without permission. If the customer needs something from the stored object, they can make an appointment to do so.

 

Pick up and drop off:

The stored object may only be delivered and collected by appointment. During the winter period from 01-11 to 01-04 the storage facility is closed and not accessible.

 

Liability:

Customers are responsible for insuring themselves against potential damage to their stored property, including damage caused by storms, fire, and other forms of force majeure. The storage facility owner accepts no liability for damage to stored property in any form whatsoever.

 

Payments:

Payments must be made in advance or in cash upon arrival after consultation.

 

Payment method:

The customer can make payments by bank transfer or cash payment, PIN payment is not possible.

 

Privacy:

Customers are aware that there are security cameras present for the protection of their stored property.

Customer data will not be provided to third parties unless required by law.

 

Changes to regulations:

These regulations are subject to change. In cases not covered by these regulations, the Maashoeve manager will decide. Guests can find the current regulations at www.kleinecamping.nl.
